Parks I visited in 2006

I attended games at the parks of the following Major League, Minor League and college teams in 2006. In 2005, I made it to 61* parks (I'm using the asterisk because one of the games was a World Series contest -- and because the number 61 is often accompanied by an asterisk in baseball circles!!), which at the time was my all-time high for one year. I'm happy to say that my 2006 total of 65 ballparks topped that!

I started counting the games at college and independent-league parks in 2003, and I've decided to keep up that practice from now on.

Along the way, I created a spreadsheet that you can use to tally up how many parks you've visited, since it lists all of the big-league and affiliated minor-league teams. If you'd like for me to send it to you free of charge, send an e-mail to the following address (I'm not stringing it all together to prevent those no-good, worthless spammers from stealing it and sending me hundreds of garbage messages): "joemock" then the "at" sign (you know, a "@") then "baseballparks.com". In the subject line simply put "Scoresheet for counting ballparks."

All the parks I've ever seen are on this page. Note that I'm typically way behind in updating this.

If the name of the park is a link, then clicking on it will take you to the in-depth review (done this year) of this stadium. I do this for all newly opened pro ballparks (and in the case of U.S. Cellular Field, a significantly renovated park).

So here's the list. For your information, the year the stadium opened (if known) is shown in parenthesis. If there's an asterisk, that means it's my first time attending a game in this park (and nothing is more fun for me than that!):
