Huge announcement

We are thrilled to announce that we have just produced a very special poster that any fan of big-league baseball is going to want to own, and visitors here get $5 off!

Who woulda thought?

Most observers are dumbfounded that the Rockies swept the D-Backs and the Indians are now a win away from joining them in the World Series. Game 5 of the ALCS is at Jacobs Field (above) Thursday.

Finally, some good news for the Marlins. Their drive for a new stadium has picked up some additional funding. Also, a consultant has provided a $12 million solution to traffic problems that would be caused by Marlin games at a new stadium at the Orange Bowl site ... It was a fun (and somewhat sad) event. More than 700 artifacts from Tiger Stadium (left) were auctioned off Saturday, grossing $192,729. Demolition of the park could begin before the end of the year. Meanwhile, a non-profit group has submitted its plans to preserve the park's infield and some of the seats ... The Astros and Harris County, their landlord, have filed a suit against the architects and engineers who designed Minute Maid Park because of faulty piping ... Hennepin County and the owners of the site where the Twins' new park is being built announced Monday that they've settled on a purchase price of $28.25 million for the land.

Visitors year to date through 9/30: 302,822. Since the site started: over 1.2 million!
