Aiding Coolbaugh family

Maintaining the view

Following a decisive pounding in the World Series, the Rockies have turned their attention to another issue: maintaining the fabulous view of the mountains from within Coors Field.

Big League Ballpark Notes

Not only will 2008 be the last year the Dodgers will hold spring training in Vero Beach, it will also mark their 50th season in LA. As part of the celebration, they might play a game at the LA Coliseum ... A columnist for ESPN.com opines that it is now apparent that there's no way the A's will remain in Oakland (left), preferring instead to move down the freeway to Fremont (or elsewhere) ... The Washington Nationals surprised more than a few people, including District of Columbia officials, when they announced that fans coming to their new stadium next year would be able to park for free at RFK Stadium and ride a shuttle ... Even though the Fall Classic is over, you'll still enjoy looking at our tongue-in-cheek comparison of the two ballparks.
