Busch Stadium

New next-door neighbor
The Cardinals' new home is a beauty, and the team didn't have to go far to move into the new digs. Since new Busch Stadium was built right next door -- and some parts actually overlap the footprint of the old Busch Stadium -- fans didn't have to give up their favorite parking spot or post-game watering hole.
In fact, the vacant lot beyond left-center-field in the photo above shows the spot where St. Louis' former ballpark stood. Beyond that is the city's former (and beautiful) courthouse. And, of course, there's no mistaking the world-famous Arch.
The exterior is as nice as any in the Majors. I especially like the 3rd Base entryway, complete with girders like the nearby Mississippi River bridge and the statue of all-time-favorite Stan Musial.
The Cards are generally regarded as having the best fans in baseball. My visits there would lead me to agree! And they certainly support their team by buying tickets, making good seats at their new ballpark hard to find. Therefore, click here for the best seats at Busch Stadium.
