Safeco Field

New meaning to the phrase "Indoor/Outdoor"
Safeco Field, with its $500-million-plus pricetag, cost far more than
anyone could've dreamed (least of all the city and the team before it
was built). But it turned out to be a hum-dinger of a stadium, with the
best retractable-roof design in baseball. Obviously, the roof is open in the photo above ... but even when it's closed, the interior of the facility
isn't completely sealed, as the area above the left-field stands remains
open. I should add that the exterior of this stadium is also among the
nicest in baseball.
Mariner fans love their team, so good seats for home games are hard to come by. Click here for the very best seats at Safeco Field.
