Turner Field
Hotlanta
The Braves' home field has a lot going for it. The skyline of Atlanta -- including Georgia's capitol and the Olympic
Flame tower used in the '96 Olympics -- is visible from inside the park. There's the impressive
entry plaza beyond center field. The Sky Field area, which is like
a park within a park, sits atop the left field stands. Below those stands is Scouts Alley which is an arcade with shops, games and the
Braves' Hall Of Fame and Museum. While Turner Field is a delight, I do wish the area surrounding this ballpark
wasn't so pitiful.
The panoramic photo above was taken at a playoff game in 2005, and the Braves have certainly made a habit of playing in the post season!
Yes, Atlanta's team has a tremendous winning tradition, and if you want the best seats at Turner Field, click here. For a great poster showing the first pitch ever at the Braves' park, check out the Grand Slam Mall.
