Parks I Visited in 2014

Every year I provide a listing of the ballparks where I attended games, noting which ones are new to me (noted with an asterisk). This doesn’t include games I tried to go to but were rained out, or where I simply visited to take pictures with no games going on.

I made it to exactly 50 in 2014, finishing the year with Game Seven of the World Series (at Kauffman Stadium, where I’d already seen a game earlier in the season).

  3. Cubs Park (2014), Chicago Cubs spring training (saw inaugural game)*
  4. Peoria Stadium (1994), San Diego Padres spring training
  5. Surprise Stadium (2003), used by Arizona State for a college tournament
  6. Phoenix Municipal Stadium (1964), Oakland A’s spring training
  7. Tempe Diablo Stadium (1968, significantly renovated 2006), Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim spring training
  8. Cougar Field (1995), University of Houston Cougars
  9. Olsen Field at Blue Bell Park (1978, significantly renovated 2012), Texas A&M Aggies
  10. Globe Life Park (1994), Texas Rangers
